Bridal Makeup: Dramatic and Natural

Dramatic Bridal Makeup

The drama was all in the smokey eyes. I used jewel toned shadows and lots of eyeliner to make her eyes smolder. Since her eyes were strong, I kept her skin, cheeks and lips soft. Another bride might want a stronger lip, but she chose a soft lip to complete her look.

She is very fashion forward and chose a hydranga wreath instead of a veil!
Natural Bridal Makeup
This is an almost 'no makeup' look. Her skin is left alone, so her freckles can shine through, giving a youthful touch! Her brows are left natural and just a soft pink stain on the lip completes this natural bridal look. There also is a hint of gold shimmer in the corners of her eye to make them pop ! After her reception I strengthened her makeup with black liner and more gloss.

Fierce Model in the Making

Here is a fierce model in the making!

Makeovers at Ondine

All the makeup was vegan and 100% natural too. Colleen is an amazing makeup artist who is the personal makeup and hair artist for Nelly Furtado amongst many more stars. She is as beautiful as a model too!

Here is a nice look: Red Lip, Clean Skin, Little Brow and a Braid! She never wore lipstick before-so she didn't even know she had such luscious lips.

If looks could kill...

Lioness Shoot

My friend Nika, has a jewlery line called Lioness, and she asked me to create some soft looks to compliment the 'hard' look of the jewlery. These girls arent proffesional models, they are her friends. I took some behind the scenes photos.

Here is a orange blush, with a matte pink lip. and a bit of a cat eye.
Caught in the act!
A soft smoky eye with a berry lip.

I recently saw this gal on a commercial so perhaps shes getting some professional work now!

Body Painting

This is a shoot I did with another artist called Mark. This was several years ago. I remember this model's name was Alhia and she was from Chile! As you can see this shoot was all about movement and how the paint works with the shape of the dancer's moves...

This is some aging makeup I did for a play. The character was dying and had to look sick. This entailed lots of layering of powders and blending of lines. I whitened the beard with Kryolon.

Every now and again, I like to paint men's faces too!
